Motion Picture Arts Screening
Are you interested in creating a video project for the Motion Picture Arts Screening? Ute Meadows Elmentary welcomes 4th and 5th graders to display their student-made video at the Evening of the Arts celebration on April 20, 2018. Videos may be created by individual students or as a group project.

To help students create videos, an optional after-school class (3pm to 4pm) on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be offered starting February 27th and ending March 22. Students will learn how to create the required storyboard for their project, get guidance on the creation of their story, and learn how to edit their video using Adobe Premiere Elements 15. Completed videos are due by April 13 - no exceptions.

What is a fractured fairytale? It's a story that uses existing fairy tales and changes the characters, settings, points-of-view, or plots. Our library has several fractured fairy tale books for your students reference. Click here for a video example of a fractured fairytale. All approved entries will be displayed at Ute Meadows Elementary on the night of Evening of the Arts.
